Microsoft has joined the music service pool with Xbox music.
The reason I decided to write about it, is I’m impressed with any service that is completely accessible with no add on.
The service is accessed via MSN home page, a web player, or web site, and if you run Windows 8, you can install the app, or it is under the apps on your computer called music.
The app incorporates all the music on your system as well provided it is in the regular folders.
It is also available for all your mobile devices, Android, iPhone, and Windows.
The pricing is like everyone else, $9.99 per month, and if you sign up new, you’ll get 30 day free trial.
The only thing you want to do is to set the volume low if you decide to use the Windows based app on your computer, or tablet, so it is under your screen reader before you start play.
Using the web player, you can just adjust your browsers volume.
If you decide to use the app, it will install a folder in your music called Xbox, just like all the others.
In that folder, you will have Purchases, and subscription tracks.
It of course works best with a Microsoft account, especially if you run Windows 8.
Good show, as they say.
Yeah, I tried the trial of it quite some time ago. I was pleased that it had music from everywhere - not just the north american popular stuff.
